U of M Twin Cities: On Thursday, September 18, 2025, at approximately 8:44 p.m., a UMPD supervisor reported hearing gunshots near Rapson Hall. At the time, a student group event with an estimated 300 attendees was taking place inside the building. Officers arrived on scene and started to search the area. There are no reported victims. Out of an abundance of caution, please stay away from the area while UMPD and law enforcement partners continue their investigation.
