U of M Twin Cities: On May 30, 2025, at approximately 8:20 p.m., a shooting occurred outside 3M Arena at Mariucci following a graduation ceremony for Wayzata High School. The University of Minnesota Police Department responded to the scene, and paramedics transported two victims to the Hennepin County Medical Center. Their condition is unknown at this time. A suspect is in custody, and authorities do not believe there is an ongoing threat to the area. This is an active UMPD investigation with the assistance of the Minneapolis Police Department and the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office.
