Timely Warning-June 13, 2017
On Monday, June 12, at approximately 10:45 p.m. the University of Minnesota Police Department responded to the report of a robbery. The crime occurred at the intersection of 18th Avenue SE and 4th Street SE.
According to the police report, the suspect approached two victims, pointed a gun at them and demanded their valuables. The victims, who are both University of Minnesota students, gave the suspect their property and were unharmed. The suspect was seen boarding a west bound train at the Stadium Village LRT station.
The victims describe the suspect as a white male in his late 20s, approximately six feet tall with a thin build. He was wearing a white polo shirt, dark green shorts, black hat and black shoes.

The Department of Public Safety is required to issue Timely Notifications for crimes that meet the criteria under the Federal Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act. This crime occurred on Campus, and is being investigated by the University of Minnesota Police Department.
