Mental Health Officer
The University of Minnesota Police Department is committed to mental health advocacy, support and response. Our department has a full time mental health officer, Kari Quast. Officer Quast has over 20 years of campus law enforcement experience.
Officer Quast works closely with Boynton Mental Health services, Student Counseling Services, and other departments to provide mental health resources to our students. She is involved with both the Behavioral Consultation Team and Employee Threat Assessment Team on cases that require police attention.
